Option to book Villa Le Roc Unit 1 (4 Sleeper) and or Villa Le Roc Unit 2 (4 Sleeper) if your guest count exceeds 8. The entire home exclusive use can sleep 14 guests. 

THE MAIN HOUSE

The Main House comprises the entire upstairs area, consisting of three en-suite bedrooms and three balconies that wrap around the house.

Two extra people can be accommodated on a double sleeper couch in the living area. 

LIVING 

There is a large entertainment/games area with an indoor braai area and pizza oven, which runs out onto the first balcony, with its beautiful sea view. The second balcony – the gin-stoep – is covered to give ample shade and offers extensive mountain views. The third balcony, which is the largest of the three, also has a braai area with ample seating and a sea view. Guests can enjoy DSTV, Smart TV and a fully fitted, tastefully decorated kitchen. It’s a spacious holiday home for family and friends.

THE AREA

Villa Le Roc offers you warm hospitality in peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Spectacular mountain and sea views, a hiking trail through Cape Fynbos (flora) at Harold Porter Botanical Garden (10km) and safe beaches all along the ocean’s length. Scenic drives, whale watching, the penguins, diving, abalone, crayfish, swimming, hiking, bird watching, tennis, bowls, a 9 hole golf course in Kleinmond and an 18 hole golf course at Arabella 10km. The nearest swimming beach is within walking distance of the Villa.

Kleinmond is in the middle of an area known as the "Heart of the Cape Fynbos floral kingdom" that is included in the world-renowned Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. It is situated in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, South Africa. Its historical background is rich with stories of shipwrecks, pirates, runaway slaves, cattle-thieves and strandlopers and the area from the Bot River Vlei to Gordon's Bay, and inland to the Groenlandberg is considered of such ecological significance, that in November 1998 it became the first UNESCO-declared Biosphere Reserve in Southern Africa. This means that the whole area is to be managed according to international principles that aim to combine conservation, sustainable use of natural resources, and wise development.

GOOD TO KNOW 

An inverter was recently installed, so this stay is loadshedding-proof. 

Two additional guests can be accommodated on a sleeper couch in the living area. 

Cooking basics are provided – pots and pans, oil, salt & pepper.

Pizza bases are provided by the hosts.

  • Loved everything about our stay - not a single complaint!

    I joined a group of friends for a weekend away at Villa Le Roc around January 2022. Most of us were Cape Town locals but two the guests were visiting from London. Suffice to say, we were all blown away by the stay. The house is spacious, comfortable and has been very tastefully decorated. What stood out to us in particular is how well-kitted it is; we enjoy cooking and were greeted with pretty much all the utensils, crockery and cutlery one could ask for. The hosts were kind enough to leave pizza bases for us to use in their awesome pizza oven which turned out to be a huge hit among the friends. We were also grateful for the abundance of fire wood for non-stop braais - just how we like it. 

    With swims and hikes around the beautiful Palmiet River just down the road and a fantastic Kleinmond beach within walking distance, there is no shortage of action to fill up your days. Thank you to Marinda and Villa Le Roc for your hospitality. We’ll be back!
