THE CABIN
A wonderfully romantic cabin in a private setting on a working farm. Luxuriously finished and equipped for a very comfortable self-catering stay. Wake up to sweeping views over the surroundings hills and only the sounds of birdlife. Be sure to bring your binocs as it's a bird lover's paradise!

Each cabin is fitted with luxury and convenience in mind. Soft pure cotton linen, pool loungers and cargo nets to look out onto the breath-taking scenery.
You can expect high quality finishes, a built-in fireplace, a king size bed with the softest cotton bedding, bath and swimming towels and Charlotte Rhys amenities to enjoy the nature inspired shower.
The kitchen has a fridge/ freezer combo, microwave, gas hob, Nespresso machine and toaster. Each unit is completely off the grid, powered by solar, so guests are encouraged to use power wisely and only when necessary.
THE AREA
Cabin Collective is situated in Hartbeespoort Dam, on a working cattle farm which falls within the beautiful, history rich Cradle of Humankind, and a mere 40-60 minutes drive from Gauteng. Drive down a well maintained 4 km dirt road to reach the cabins, a standard sedan vehicle will suffice.

Reception on the farm is sporadic, but the cabin has strong WIFI router for those quick meetings in between relaxing.
Each stay will include wood, firelighters and a coffee station for your first night stay. Extra wood, ice and a range of carefully selected local goods to enrich your stay are on offer to purchase for the duration of your stay.
Kitchen basics include locally source olive oil and balsamic vinegar and a selection of freshly cut herbs. Provided in addition to this is a bottle of wine (for 2 night stays or more), salt & pepper, home-style rusks and a small carton of milk.
No pets allowed.
No children under 12 years.
Local produce can be ordered in advance of your arrival.
Cabin serviced daily if required.
The security on the farm is excellent, there is a guard 24 hours a day with secure code gate access to the cabins.
The nearest shops are PNP Mountain Lake Shopping Centre & Super Spar The Islands.
