THE HOUSE

Enter the property through an old Indian teak door and arrive into the sheltered courtyard featuring a large heated pool. The central walkway leads to you the main downstairs barn consisting of a full-fitted kitchen, open plan dining room and sunken Moroccan inspired lounge. The main barn opens up seamlessly to the front stoep of the property with exceptional views of Britannia Bay beach and the Atlantic ocean. There are two large dining room tables each comfortably seating 12 guests, which makes this an ideal entertainment space.

LIVING 

The sheltered courtyard featuring Greek style seating – is the perfect place to cool off and unwind after spending time on the beach or swimming in the ocean. The TV den off the courtyard is an ideal escape to get out of the sun and have some down time.

Your stay will include a complimentary bottle of the owners carefully curated West Coast bordeaux blend which is just waiting to be paired with sea, sand and sunsets.

There is also a “utility room” which includes a large table tennis table with doors that can be opened on a perfect down out to the back of the property. Bordeaux on Britannia is built on a double plot, so there is ample parking space for guests and for children to be able to explore.

THE AREA

Britannia Bay is a small town in the West Coast District Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa, approximately 141 kilometres from Cape Town. The village takes its name from a British East Indiaman ship which was badly damaged by a reef in the bay.

A R8000 refundable breakage deposit is due after booking.

The onsite villa manager attends to all of the housekeeping for the villa.

Tea, coffee, rusks, firewood and a complimentary bottle of wine is provided on your arrival.

There is a table tennis table, SUP board & kayak at the villa for your enjoyment. 

There is a boardwalk from the house that leads you directly down to the beach.

50% deposit required to confirm the booking, if the booking is made within 30 days of arrival 100% of payment is due. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.

If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.

If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
